Alexis Eddy was a former contestant on the MTV reality show “Are You The One?” season 6 in 2017. She died on January 9, 2020 although her official cause of death has not been revealed yet.

While on ‘Are You The One’ Eddy revealed that her cousin murdered someone. It was later revealed that her cousin she was referring to was Shelia Eddy, who was in prison for brutally stabbing her best friend. She was sentenced to 15 years to life at 17 years old.
Alexis Eddy Fiance – Alexis Eddy Engaged
Alexis revealed in October 2019 that she was engaged. She posted a photo on Instagram, which has since been deleted, with the fiance Nate Lee and captioned it, “Went to play in the woods…Walked out engaged.” However Nate’s slideshow photos post is still on Instagram with the caption, “Asked my best friend to spend the rest of her life with me today… She said ‘yee’ #blessed.”

It appears that the two had broken up. In early January, someone commented on a recent photo of Eddy, “Yesss beautiful brown eyes are back and no more lame fiance I love that for you.”
A twitter post she wrote on New Year’s Eve also suggested she was single for the celebration. She wrote, “I’m bringing a mirror with me out tonight so I can kiss myself when the ball drops #2020 got love for ME and ME ONLY.”
Alexis Eddy Drugs
Eddy had a history with drug addiction and that was part of her onscreen persona on “Are You the One?”. In September 2019 she announced her sobriety. In September 2019 she posted a photo of herself and father celebrating that they were sober together.

In October she posted another photo in front of a Community Recovery Center and captioned it, “Recovery at its finest 😉 Gr8ful 2 b clean & sober.”
Alexis Eddy Death
Eddy was discovered dead on January 9, 2020 at home in West Virginia. the police received a call from Eddy’s home just before 7 a.m. ET on Thursday morning. The public relations officer said that when they arrived they found a female who suffered from cardiac arrest. She was pronounced dead on the scene. The cause of death is not yet known, and police could not comment on whether foul play is suspected.
