From Sep 2009 to Dec 2009, Brooke worked for FSN West as a UCLA Football Sideline reporter. While there, she provided insight and analysis as the third member of the UCLA Bruins broadcast team. She also conducted interviews for each home game and interviews with players, coaches, as well as celebrities. Brooke was married to a man named Andy Collins in 2011. He passed away just 10 days after their wedding when he suffered a heart attack while running on August 3, 2011. Collins was only 27 and a professional athlete. His cause of death was a result of severe fatigue after working out.
Collins was a former college football quarterback at the University of Oregon and Occidental College and from Zillah, Washington, a town of 3,000 located in the Yakima Valley, a two-hour drive from Brooke’s hometown. After his death, Brooke launched a campaign to raise money for the American Heart Association in honor of her late husband.
