Brooke Olzendam is a host and sideline reporter for Indiana Pacers sports and entertainment. She has been working at the station since Oct 2011. She is in the headlines during Oklahoma City’s Monday night tilt with Portland, Trail Blazers sideline reporter Brooke Olzendam got the world’s worst spooking from the mischievous Rumble.

As she was preparing to go on camera, Rumble got right behind her and got as still as one of those scary paintings that watches you while you walk by it. Olzendam had no idea Rumble was right behind her, only to find out in the most hilarious way possible.

Brooke is a native of Spokane, Washington, Olzendam graduated from Shadle Park High School. He then went to Washington State University for a degree in Communications, Broadcast NewsCommunications, and Broadcast News from 1999 – 2003.

Brooke Olzendam has been working as a Host and Sideline reporter at Pacers Sports & Entertainment since Oct 2011. She previously worked for the CBS Sports Network as a Sideline reporter from Sep 2010 to Jan 2012. Brooke has also worked at Comcast SportsNet Northwest as a Talent manager from Jan 2010 to Jun 2011.

From Sep 2009 to Dec 2009, Brooke worked for FSN West as a UCLA Football Sideline reporter. While there, she provided insight and analysis as the third member of the UCLA Bruins broadcast team. She also conducted interviews for each home game and interviews with players, coaches, as well as celebrities. Brooke Hosted both pre and post-game shows for each home broadcast in the nation’s second-largest TV market.

Brooke’s started her career covering the Washington Huskies as the host of Huskies All-Access, performed sideline reporting for Huskies football and basketball, and served as a host of Runnin’ with the Pac.

Brooke was married to a man named Andy Collins in 2011. He passed away just 10 days after their wedding when he suffered a heart attack while running on August 3, 2011. Collins was only 27 and a professional athlete. His cause of death was a result of severe fatigue after working out.

Collins was a former college football quarterback at the University of Oregon and Occidental College and from Zillah, Washington, a town of 3,000 located in the Yakima Valley, a two-hour drive from Brooke’s hometown. After his death, Brooke launched a campaign to raise money for the American Heart Association in honor of her late husband.
