Cedrice is a 28-year-old San Diego musician who is competing in Season 18 of The Voice which airs on NBC. She was the last contestant to audition in the reality TV competition and Joined Team Legend with one person remaining to make his team full.
The 2020 season of NBC’s The Voice is heating up with the Top 17 performers singing on May 4 for votes from the viewers. The Top 9 contestants will be announced tomorrow, May 5, during the next live episode.
According to the episode synopsis, during tonight’s episode, the winner from the 4-way Knockout will be revealed. Then, “the remaining Top 17 artists perform in front of coaches Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, John Legend and Blake Shelton for their chance at a spot in the Top 9.”
She was born in 1991 in San Diego, Californi, and is currently 28 years old as of 2020.
Cedrice grew up in a lively Filipino family and had a typical childhood until she was diagnosed with alopecia at age 10. After losing chunks of hair, she endured severe bullying and fell into depression. She tried wearing wigs, but always felt she was hiding her real identity.
Cedrice began her music career in 2017 and it was then that she decided to embrace what made her unique and began shaving her head as per her NBC bio. With the power back in her hands, she boldly took the stage and began singing publicly for the first time and is now a full-time musician.

Cedrice sang “Fever” for her audition. She ended up being the last audition of the Blinds, and John even tells her he’s glad he waited for her. All four judges had praises for her, but John was the only one with spots left on his team at this point.
She is a married woman and her husband and parents were in the backstage to support her during her auditions. She has also posted several photos and videos of her husband on Instagram.
