Christopher Dionne Biography

Christopher Dionne is a former HGTV host who was found guilty of risk of injury to a minor and fourth-degree sexual assault on October 16, 2019 of molesting a 10-year-old girl in his home.

Christopher Dionne Wife (Summer Sage Dionne)

Dionne married his wife Summer-Sage Williams in September 2012 in Old Lyme, Connecticut. Summer is a published writer. She is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic where she studied sociology. She published her book ‘The Little White Flower’ in March 2015. She has seven books listed on Amazon which include; One to Ten Nonsense, The Elixir of Life, Legacy: Origins.

Christopher Dionne HGTV – Christopher Dionne Family Flip

He appeared on a pilot episode of HGTV’s Family Flip with his twin brother in July 2015. The show aired one episode and wasn’t picked up. The show dealt with Dionne and his brother Michael remodeling a home and then selling it on at a profit.

In December 2017 Houzz reported that Dionne’s new show would deal with the twins going to home that “are sitting on the market over 100 days with no offers yet.” The first homes to be featured in the show were in Woodland Hills and Thousand Oaks in southern California. Michael Dionne is based in Los Angeles.

After Dionne was arrested references to him were removed from HGTV’s website.. HGTV in a statement said that Dionne had only appeared in one episode of his show on the network in 2015.

Christopher Dionne Rape Case

According to court documents, the sexual assault allegedly occurred when the alleged victim was staying in Dionne’s house with his two children for a sleepover. As the girl slept on the couch, Dionne allegedly went over to her and asked her if she wanted to touch and kiss his penis. He also allegedly took pictures of her chest and caressed her naked body and bum – twice.

According to NBC Connecticut after Dionne asked the girl if she wanted to see his penis, the girl said No and that Dionne told her not to tell anyone, “I’ll have to go to jail and (my daughter) won’t have a daddy.”

The station reported that Dionne’s version of events were different. He claimed that when he came home from a night out he found the 10-year-old awake When he sat on the couch with the girl started to rub his stomach. Dionne told cops that he told her, “That’s big girl stuff.” At that point, Dionne says the girl started to cry.

It is alleged that Dionne was having an affair with the victim’s mother. The victim’s mother, who has not been named, took the stand and described her affair with Dionne as a “sexting relationship.” However, Dionne’s wife testified that the aspiring TV star informed her it was a physical affair.

Christopher Dionne Arrest – HGTV Host Arrested

In March 2018 Dionne was arrested after he turned himself in to state police in Westbrook after a 10-year-old female victim alerted police of the alleged child molestation. He was charged with sexual assault in the fourth degree and risk of injury to a minor. He entered a not guilty plea to the two charges.

Christopher Dionne Found Guilty

On October 16, 2019 Christopher appeared in New London Judicial District Court in Connecticut where he was found guilty of risk of injury to a minor and fourth-degree sexual assault. He faces up to 25 years in prison for the two charges and is expected to be sentenced in December.
