Christopher Dow is best known for being the only son of Tony Dow, an American actor, film producer, director and sculptor.

He was a child actor who appeared in the movie The New Leave it to Beaver in 1983. At the time, he was 10 years old and had steered towards following his father in the movie industry. With almost no acting experience his father, Tony Dow’s career began when he went on a casting call and landed the role of Wally Cleaver in Leave It to Beaver. At the time his son appeared in the series, Dow was reprising the role of Wally Cleaver in the subsequent series, The New Leave it to Beaver.
Besides that one role recognized on IMDB, he did Christopher did not feature in any other roles. He has been behind the scenes supporting his father in his career. He is the one who was making updates on behalf of his father while he was in hospice care.

As mentioned earlier, he is Tony Dow’s son and his first wife, Carol Marlow. His dad Dow was born in Hollywood, California. In his youth. He trained as a swimmer and was a Junior Olympics diving champion.
Dow married Carol Marlow in June 1969, and their marriage ended in 1978. They had one child, born in 1973. In June 1980, Dow married Lauren Shulkind. The two remained married until his death in 2022.
Tony Dow Cause of Death
After erroneous reports started circulating, news of his death initially surfaced on July 26, 2022. His family later revealed that Dow was at his Topanga, California, home, in his “last hours”, under hospice care. He died the following day, July 27, at 77. He was diagnosed with cancer in May 2022.

Our heart goes out to Tony’s wife, Lauren, who will miss her soulmate of 42 years…To his son, Christopher, who will dearly miss his father, who was also his best friend…to his daughter-in-law, Melissa, who loved him like her own father…To his Granddaughter, Tyla, who will undoubtedly carry on her Grandfather’s kind soul, To his Brother Dion and Sister-in-Law, Judy, and to all his extended family and friends. Words cannot express how much we will all feel his absence but will cherish the memories he left to each and every one of us.
Christopher has stated: Although this is a very sad day, I have comfort and peace that he is in a better place. He was the best Dad anyone could ask for. He was my coach, mentor, the voice of reason, best friend, best man at my wedding, and hero. My wife said something powerful and showed the kind of man he was. She said: “Tony was such a kind man. He had such a huge heart, and I’ve never heard Tony say anything bad or negative about anyone.”
