Lucy Frazer was born on May 17, 1972, and is currently 50 years old in 2022. She is agemates with her husband, David Leigh with whom she went to college. She is descended from Jewish immigrants. Her grandfather was the headmaster of Gateway Grammer School in Leicester.

David is married to British politician and barrister Lucy Frazer. In September 2021, The couple was accused of having a conflict of interest over a Government contract as per the Guardian tabloid. The Treasury minister Lucy Frazer was accused of a conflict of interest over her husband’s firm. David Leigh supplied temporary workers to HM Revenue & Customs who were on tax avoidance schemes.
The two met at Cambridge University while doing their undergrad studies. Frazer was elected President of the Cambridge Union.
Frazer was a Minister of State at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing, and Communities since October 2022. She is a member of the Conservative party. She also served as Minister of State for Transport from September to October 2022 during Boris Johnston’s tenure. Frazer also served as Financial Secretary to the Treasury from 2021 to 2022. Frazer’s dad, Colin Peter Frazer died of COVID-19 in January 2021.

David has been involved in the recruitment industry for over 22 years, having started his career with Geldard & Co before moving to Spencer Stuart where he successfully launched specialist healthcare recruitment practice Healthcare Recruitment Solutions in 2005. David has an MA in History from Oxford University and is currently a non-executive director of the Health and Care Professions Council.
Prior to joining AMS in 2019, David was CEO, and latterly Chair, of Study Group, one of the world’s largest international education businesses, and, prior to that, CEO of SHL, the leading provider of talent assessment solutions
David had a privileged upbringing, attending the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, which has been described as “Britain’s Eton”. This is not surprising given that his late father was a high-ranking civil servant at HM Treasury, who subsequently worked for the World Bank in Washington DC. David described his father as “a man of great integrity and honesty, with a tremendous work ethic”.
David believes that a key to success is surrounding yourself with people who are better than you. While David has always worked in global or international organizations, he is a lifelong Londoner.
