Ethan Cannon who played as a left guard for the Butler High School Matthews, NC class of 2021 is being reported to have passed away on Jan 11, 2022, as per a statement from his family. He wore jersey number 88 and stood at 5’10” and weighed 245 lbs.
Ethan Cannon Cause of Death
Ethan Cannon died unexpectedly as per a statement released by Mint Hill Mountaineers/Chargers (AYF). His cause of death was not revealed in the statement. A candlelight vigil has been organized on Thursday, Jan 13, 2022, at 6 pm at the Butler High School (Football Stadium) with attendees being requested to wear Butler Red to show support to Ethan’s family.
The statement by Mint Hill which was posted on Facebook reads, “Asking everyone today to keep the family and friends of Ethan Cannon in your prayers. We lost Ethan unexpectedly last night. Ethan, Class of 2021, always had a smile at the ready and everyone who interacted with him always felt good after spending time with him. He loved his friends and loved being a Bulldog. You will be missed, my man.”

Joe Ellis Bradley on the other hand wrote a statement confirming Ethan’s death a statement that reads, “With a huge hole in my heart that I fear will never be filled I’m truly heartened as I read thru posts this morning from not only my FB family but especially from the Charlotte community.”
Bradley further wrote that people would not understand the sorrow of losing a loved one until such a tragedy strikes them. “You just don’t have any idea how much people care.”
He went on to thank everyone who responded and offered love, prayers, and concern forher daughter and grandson.
“Please continue to pray for our family as we face some difficult days ahead and know that you’ve lifted our hearts and souls beyond what I could imagine. From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely thank you for loving Aaron Bradley and Ethan Cannon.”
