Gemi Bordelon has been identified as the woman in a viral TikTok video of the Lousiana State University‘s football team performing the “Get the Gat” dance during their visit to the White House on Friday, January 17th to celebrate winning the National College Football Championship.

WBRZ confirmed through sources that the woman dancing in the video is indeed Gemi Bordelon. WBRZ explained that she and her husband have close ties to members of Louisiana’s congressional delegation. The family lives in Lafourche Parish, which is near Coach Ed Orgeron’s hometown.

Gemi is the wife of Ben Bordelon, a former American football who played in college for the LSU Tigers football team, where he was a starter for four seasons as an offensive guard and tackle.

Ben Bordelon is currently the President and CEO of Bollinger Shipyards, which is based in Lockport, Louisiana as per his Linkedln. The company was founded by his grandfather, Donald G.
