Marie-France Ward and Ward were married in 1995. She was the third wife of an American actor and producer. His first marriage was to Carla Evonne Stewart whom he married in 1965. Their marriage only lasted a year ending in divorce in 1966. His second marriage was to Silvia Ward, with whom he had a son, Django. Ward lived in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Back in August 2013, TMZ reported that Marie-France had filed for divorce from Ward citing irreconcilable differences. The couple was later in the month reported having reconciled after solving their marital issues.
At the time they had been married for 18 years. Ward released a statement that reads, “We had filed for divorce and quickly thereafter withdrew the paperwork because we had resolved our issues. After 18 years of marriage, we are still very much in love.”

Fred Ward passed away on May 8, 2022, at the age of 79 as per a statement released to the New York Post by Ward’s rep. No cause of death has been given but in the statement, the actor’s wish was for donations to be made to the Boston University Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy Center.
Tremors wrote in a tribute, “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Fred Ward who played Earl Bassett in the Tremors franchise. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this time.”
Fred’s acting career spanned some 50 years. n his early life, he liked traveling and once worked picking tomatoes and beans in Ventura County. Fred was a short-order cook and an amateur boxer.
