Joey DeFrancesco entered my musical realm when I was nine years old and I got my first cassette tape of him playing.”
“I was mesmerized. I’m still astonished that in my adulthood I got to share countless laughs, jokes, and melodies with him. I know Heaven sure as heck just got groovier while we are here to remember him, play a bit louder, a bit funkier, and a bit kinder. Much love, respect, and rest well Joey. We love you and miss you already. Praying for your wonderful family during this time.”
