Harry Morton was a restaurateur and the founder of the Pink Taco restaurant chain and the son of Hard Rock Cafe co-founder Peter Morton. He died on November 23, 2019 at his home in Beverly Hills. He was also a volunteer sheriff’s deputy with the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station.

According to The Los Angeles Times he got introduced into the foodservice industry while working summers at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas.
He was also the former owner of the Viper Room nightclub in West Hollywood, which Johnny Depp once was a co-owner of as well. Morton was also an investor in Beacher’s Madhouse.
He comes from a family of hospitality tycoons. His father, Peter, co-founded the Hard Rock Cafes and Hotels, and his grandfather, Arnie, founded Morton’s The Steakhouse.

Harry dated actress Lindsay Lohan back in 2006. The two first met at Lindsay 20th birthday party on July 2, 2006 and immediately connected. He even accompanied her to her film Bobby in Venice that September.

Harry Morton Dead
Harry died at his home in Beverly Hills on November 23, 2019. According to PEOPLE a spokesperson with the Beverly Hills Police Department said Harry was found dead in his Beverly Hills home. A source says Harry’s younger brother Matthew was the one to find the restauranteur unresponsive.
According to Page Six, Harry had dined with his family, including his father, the previous day and had seemed in good spirits.
“Harry’s family is devastated. They believe his sudden death is related to an unforeseen medical issue, but it is too early to say.”
Beverly Hills PD is investigating his death according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Pink Taco said in a statement; “We are saddened by the passing of Harry Morton, the founder and former owner of Pink Taco. Harry was a visionary and restaurateur ahead of his time, and his contributions, both professionally to our brand and personally to those he worked with, were numerous. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends during this difficult time.”
Harry Morton Cause of Death
On November 26, Dr. Matthew Miller, deputy medical examiner at the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed to the family that Harry had a coronary artery disease with a mildly enlarged heart.
Dr. Kathy E. Magliato, a leading cardiothoracic surgeon and a Morton family friend confirmed that Morton had calcification in three main arteries and suffered sudden cardiac death.
Harry Morton Overdose – Harry Morton Drug
According to Page six a source confirmed that Morton had no drugs in his system. His half-sister Domino Harvey, whose life was portrayed in the film Domino, died of a drug overdose in 2005.
