Jade Roper DraftKings
on January 6, 2020 Jade Roper won first place in DraftKings’ Millionaire Maker contest. However seasoned daily fantasy players began looking into the results alleging that Jade and her husband Tanner Tolbert, had violated the site’s rules by what’s called “pooling” their entries.
The contest allows a maximum of 150 entries per person, but two (or more) people can theoretically get around the rule by submitting lineups that have very few, if any, players in common – thereby increasing their chances of having the winning combination.
All but seven of Roper’s 150 entries had AFC quarterbacks Deshaun Watson, Josh Allen or Ryan Tannehill at quarterback. Meanwhile, all but two of Tolbert’s entries had NFC QBs Carson Wentz, Drew Brees or Russell Wilson.
This Bachelorette and her husband and both max enter the milly and not share QBs? Her insta and twitter don’t have a single sports post prior either. @adamlevitan @AwesemoDFS @DraftKings @TommyG @AlZeidenfeld @CSURAM88 pic.twitter.com/6zf79C68Ty

In a phone interview with USA Today Tolbert disputed the allegations saying; “We each put in our separate players, in our separate accounts and rooted for own players. No one has ever said a peep about us when we lost for 17 straight weeks. Then, of course, somehow Jade picked the right lineup, got the million and the spotlight got shone on it. And people, especially since she’s a woman, assume that I do it all for her. If I had won, I bet no one would’ve raised a flag.”
Jason Robins, DraftKings CEO, said that the company had begun an investigation, “I understand everyone wants answers and we are trying to work quickly, but I personally just learned about this within the past hour or two.”
On January 25, 2020 DraftKings said in a statement it had “updated the standings of several contests.” One of those was Roper’s top entry, with a new player now listed as the $1 million winner.
“All customers affected by the updated standings will be notified directly. It is our general policy not to comment further on such matters.”

Happy 4th Anniversary, my love! Feels like it was yesterday we said our vows, but also like an eternity ago. Lol 😝 Life gets crazy sometimes (do we even remember what life was like before stacks of diapers, deciphering toddler emotions and bedtimes that need 100 stories first?? 😂), but I wouldn’t want to go through this hand-in-hand with anyone but you. I would choose you 1000 times over. I love you so much, @tanner.tolbert! Thanks for being my best friend and here’s to growing old together! ❤️❤️
