James Yeager a renowned self-defense enthusiast is reported to have passed away on September 1, 2022. He had disclosed he had Lou Gehrig’s illness also called ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis ‘A nervous system disease that weakens muscles and impacts physical function.’

James Yeager had a career as a cop and navy contractor for the US. He had in the Spring of 2022 gone for his last “Big Mission” to train 150 soldiers in Ukraine as the Russian invasion ensued. He and his team went into Kyiv while it was almost surrounded, and was being bombed daily, and trained the people that needed it the most.
Over the years prior to mid-2004, Yeager held various law enforcement occupations in at least two Tennessee municipalities as per his IMDB. Afterward, for a period of time just shy of a year, he worked as a security contractor and media liaison in Iraq, coordinating with Iraqi security forces and the United States Army’s 82nd Airborne Division.
He will be remembered for the training he offered to Hungarians, Arabs, South Africans as well as other people across the globe. He was in a Tactical Response unit that offered high-end armament and tactical coaching to those that are legally armed from 1996. He has been the CEO of Tactical Response for many years.
