Kayla James has been missing since Thursday around noon, Oct 6. She was last seen leaving her apartment building in Huntsville, and there has been no contact or trace of her. She has been described as an African American and drives a Kia Forte car. Kayla is currently 30 years old. The police say that they will assign an investigator on Monday, October 10, if she will not have been found by then.

Kayla is an alumnus of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a public research university in Huntsville, Alabama. She was part of the Huntsville AL Alumnae Chapter Of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Keandra Gordon Milligan, part of the sorority that Kayla was in, wrote in a statement on Facebook, “Hi, Facebook family. Pictured below is my Soror’s daughter, Kayla James. I also worked with her before COVID. She’s been missing since Thursday.
She was last seen around noon at her apartment in Huntsville. Please, please, please help. If you hear, see or know anything, please call the numbers below or the police. Thanks for your help. Please pray for Kayla’s safe return home and for her family. ”
The police say they cannot assign an investigator to her case until Monday, October 10. The family, however, believes that something should be done promptly to bring her home. They are asking the people of Delta for their support in helping bring their daughter home.
