Gabriela’s music career began at the age of 5 where she would sing at church and even at school, with her father as her mentor on her musical journey.

She has been doing songs covers and posting them on her Instagram account. She also played the lead in several musicals at the school, including Lin Manuel-Miranda’s “Into The Heights.”

In November 2019, Gabriela wrote a song entitled, “Before You Go,” for her best friend which shared on Instagram. The caption read; “I wrote this song a couple of months ago for my best friend, she’s in the military now, and I was missing her a little extra today so I figured I would share her song with you guys.”

When she was interviewed on Tampa Bay’s ABC Action New she said, “thank you so much ABC ACTION NEWS for the chance to come on Morning Blend and chat about my musical journey and my upcoming audition for idol which airs THIS SUNDAY !!!!! During her American Idol audition, Gabriela sang “Let’s Hurt Tonight” and had the judges rooting for her. The judges called her performance a top 10 material. “From the first note, I was like yep.” Judge Luke Bryan said while Lionel Richie wrote down “star” in his notes during her audition.
