Laura Richardson Holmes Career
Laura graduated from a top-tier law school in Chicago in 2013 specializing in Corporate law. She initially worked for mid-size law firms but soon realized that her life was being sucked out. She quit her job and moved to Key West, where her parents have had a home since the early 2000s. She has lived at Key West for years which saw her lead at least seven lives. She worked as a teacher in a classroom of 2 and 3-year-olds, worked in the county court system, fundraised for a local theater company,y and has written for and served as editor of a local publication.
Salt Island Provision came about in 2017 when her mom was approached with the opportunity to take over its operations. Sea Salt is a unique boutique and gallery on a quaint corner of a residential area in Old Town Key West. At the time, the gallery was poised to close if new ownership didn’t step in. Laura says that they were in the perfect place at the ideal time to save a business that is an exceptional and indispensable part of the cultural and artistic fabric of the island.
Salt is a meticulously sourced and curated collection of goods primarily handmade by artists and artisans living and working in the Florida Keys. According to Laura, the boutique carries locally harvested Florida Keys sea salt and honey, jewelry and pottery crafted by local artisans, and art of all mediums created by local artists.

Laura and Russell tied the knot at Lucky Spur Ranch and Retreat, a 56-acre ranch in December 2021. The wedding entailed an outdoor ceremony overlooking flowing creeks and sprawling trees exuding a romantic and rustic elegant feel in the ranch.
Rissel has two sons, Dylan and Zachary from his first wife, Regina T. Pricell. Little is known about his first marriage which ended in divorce.

Speaking about the prospects of his wife appearing on Renovation Impossible, Russell exclusively told Distractify that he wants to keep the majority of his “personal life personal. ”
“There [are] so many haters out there and I can handle haters, but I don’t want them to pass it off onto my wife or my kids or anything like that,” he explained.
