Mandi Castillo is one of the contestants of the Voice Season 18. She’s currently on Team Legend, and she’s definitely at the very least on par with the remainder of the women in the competition at this point.
Mandi performed “Asi Fue” during her Blind Audition, “Senorita” for her Battle Round, and “Stand By Me” for the Knockout Round.

Mandi Castillo is a San Antonio-based artist named Amanda Castillo. According to her bio, she describes herself as a young, soulful Latin singer born and raised in Texas.
Mandi was 19 when she decided she had to pack her bags and move away from family, leave her two jobs and follow her dream of becoming a singer. She wound up part of Nothing But the Best Records along with Cion Palmerin and released a debut single called Vivid Dreamer and an accompanying music video in 2017.
She’s followed up with a steady stream of singles since then and released a five-song debut EP called “I” in July. You can check out “No Rush” from that EP below.
Back in November 2019, Mandi paid a tribute on her Instagram to the rapper BadAzz (Jamarr Antonio Stamp), one of her first collaborators on that label. She wrote “Thank you for believing in me as an artist and for loving me like a little sis. You were supposed to be there when I made it! … I feel so blessed that I had you in my life.”

During her auditions in The Voice, Mandi is flanked by her parents who are there to support her. She speaks of how she had to donate a kidney to another person so that her mother could get a matching kidney back in 2019. In an Instagram post speaking of the same, she wrote: It’s been almost 2 months since we had surgery. My mommas kidney is working marvelously and I couldn’t be more thankful to God ?? Look at us, we hiking and all ??”
