Rebecca Kanter Biography
Rebecca Kanter is A$AP Rocky fan who was arrested on July 23, 2019 by Secret Service agents after she allegedly threatened to blow up the Swedish Embassy complex in Washington, D.C. She was protesting A$AP Rocky’s detention as he has been in custody in the Swedish capital since July 3 after he was arrested and charged with assault after he took part n a confrontation in Stockholm on June 30.

Rebecca was arrested on July 23, 2019 after she allegedly threatened to blow up Swedish Embassy in Washington, D.C. She had placed a bag down near the entrance to the embassy, threw liquid from a glass Coca Cola bottle at the doorway and yelled out “I’m going to blow this motherf–er up.”
According to the affidavit a day earlier she had allegedly thrown liquid from a glass Coca-Cola bottle at the doorway and threatened to blow up the building. She then left before authorities could intervene, although the Secret Service issued a “Be on the Lookout” for her.
The affidavit alleges that Kanter returned the following afternoon and was able to get through security. She began “cursing and screaming” at staff and a student tour group and was “making statements” about A$AP Rocky. She allegedly also kicked over a teepee that was on display, as well as a coffee table in the lobby.
She was ordered to leave but she refused and sat on the floor and asked the police o be called, she said; “Call the police, I’m not leaving.”
Kanter is also alleged to have made several posts on social media, including one that asked, “why isn’t it breaking news that I defiled the House of Sweden last night, that I vandalized the World Bank, that I vandalized the IMF … why aren’t I getting press for ASAP.”
Rebecca Kanter Charges
Kanter was charged with willfully injuring and damaging property of a foreign government and refusing to depart a foreign embassy. She is out on bond and was ordered by the judge to stay away from the embassy. She has a preliminary hearing.

Rebecca Kanter was protesting the arrest and detention of A$AP Rocky in Sweden. A$AP Rocky whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers is an American rapper and a member of the hip hop group A$AP Mob, from which he adopted his moniker. On July 3, 2018 A$AP Rocky was arrested and detained by the Swedish authorities with assault after he took part in a confrontation in Stockholm on June 30. after he was charged.
A$AP was in Sweden to perform at a music festival before a video emerged of him throwing someone, who has since been identified as Mustafa Jafari on the ground. Mustafa suffered several cuts requiring stitches and a fractured rib. A$AP uploaded two videos of the incident on Instagram, one the first video, he and his retinue repeatedly ask two young men to stop following them as one complains about his headphones. In the other, created from footage of assorted events, Jafari’s headphones break during a scuffle, Jafari is seen hitting A$AP’s bodyguard with them, and a woman is seen accusing the two men of groping.
Soon after the news broke of A$AP’s arrest the hashtag #JusticeForRocky began trending which pushed for his release. A petition calling for his release has also garnered half a million signatures.
Kardashian West, her husband, rapper and record producer Kanye West have lobbied President Donald Trump, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner in support of A$AP Rocky.
Earlier this week, Sweden’s top prosecutor Petra Lundh said: “the fact that a suspect or a plaintiff is known is no reason for the person to receive a special treatment.”
