Rodriguez Randy Santos Biography
Rodriguez Santos is the man who allegedly killed four homeless people in Chinatown. It is alleged that on Saturday morning, October 5, he went on a rampage beating five sleeping homeless men on the head with a metal pipe leaving four dead and one rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He is also believed to be homeless and has 14 past arrests.

Rodriguez Santos Chinatown Killings
On October 5, 2019 Randy went on a killing rampage where he beat five sleeping homeless men on the head with a metal pipe—leaving four dead and one rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress on Bowery Street near Doyers Street in Chinatown at about 1:50 a.m. and found two homeless men with head trauma.
According to the authorities, one man was pronounced dead at the scene, the other victim, 49, was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital in critical condition. Police searching the area then discovered three other victims around the corner on East Broadway, all with head trauma. The three were pronounced dead on the scene. Two of those victims were found in front of a store on East Broadway, and the third was discovered across the street.
According to The New York Post, the cops later spotted the alleged killer, who was holding a three-foot-long, blood-covered metal object that appeared to be from a construction site.

Randy Santos Arrested
After the rampage, Santos was arrested and the police say he remains in custody. The cops said they believe his rampage was “random”.
Chief of Manhattan South Detective Michael Baldassano told reporters at a press conference that the motive seems to be just random attacks, “Motive appears to be, right now, just random attacks. It doesn’t seem anybody was targeted by race, age, anything of that nature.”
Randy Santos Prior Arrests
Randy has had 14 past arrests – including an assault charge from May, four of the arrests are from past year. In November 2018 he was arrested for an assault in which he leaped over a desk at a store on W. 35th Street in Midtown, grabbed a man by the neck, and bit down on his chest.
In May 2019 he was arrested in a men’s shelter in Brooklyn, where he was living at the time, after he attacked a man with a metal object similar to Saturday’s weapon.
He was also arrested in March after for groping a 19-year-old woman in Queens.
