Sam Wilkinson Biography
Sam Wilkinson is a 13-year-old winner of The Voice Kids UK. During the finals he performed his original song ‘Everything’s Alright’, and a cover of Hey Jude with coach Danny Jones. Alongside winning the title he won a £30,000 bursary for musical education. and together with his family, they will be heading to Orlando in Florida for a holiday.

Sam was a contestant on The Voice Kids UK 2019. During the blind audition he performed Like a Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan, including playing the harmonica. Before his performance, he opened up about losing his mum to leukemia a year before.
During his performance, both Pixie and Danny spun around. Sam chose to join Team Danny after the pair enjoyed an impromptu guitar session on stage, with Sam showcasing an original song, ‘Everything’s Alright’.

On July 27, 2019 Sam was announced as the winner of The Voice Kids 2019. During the finales, he performed his original song ‘Everything’s Alright’ and a cover of Hey Jude with coach Danny Jones.
After he was announced as the winner he was slightly lost for words. He said: ‘Thanks, that’s so cool. I can’t believe it.’
Danny Jones, Sam’s mentor, said; ‘Tonight was the hardest because they’re all worthy winners, the talent on this stage tonight has been unbelievable, but Sam really deserves it and he’s done amazing. He’s been a pleasure to mentor and he’s my little bro now.’
