She later joined Quebec television station LCN as an entertainment reporter, ahe also reporter for LCN’s daily Showbiz segment. She contributed to segments on Salut Bonjour Weekend, Clin d’œil, and Bec et Museau for TVA, and hosted Canal Évasion’s Escales de Rêves and Canal Z’s Teksho.
Sophie also served as co-host on CKMF Radio’s morning shows and contributed to Radio-Canada’s Coup de Pouce.
In September 2005 she joined CTV Television Network as a reporter for eTalk. She served as eTalk’s Quebec correspondent until 2010. She focused her reporting on the philanthropy and activism of celebrities.

On March 12, 2020 the office of Prime minister, Canada announced that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s wife has tested positive for the new coronavirus. They sais that Sophie was feeling well and would remain in isolation. It was revealed that she came down with flu-like symptoms Wednesday following a speaking engagement in the UK.
I have some additional news to share this evening. Unfortunately, the results of Sophie’s COVID-19 test are positive. Therefore, she will be in quarantine for the time being. Her symptoms remain mild and she is taking care of herself and following the advice of our doctor.

The statement said that the Prime Minister was in good health and showed no symptoms, “The Prime Minister is in good health with no symptoms. As a precautionary measure and following the advice of doctors, he will be in isolation for a planned period of 14 days. Also on the advice of doctors, he will not be tested at this stage since he has no symptoms. For the same reason, doctors say there is no risk to those who have been in contact with him recently.”
Sophie issued a statement thanking those who have reached out; “Although I’m experiencing uncomfortable symptoms of the virus, I will be back on my feet soon. Being in quarantine at home is nothing compared to other Canadian families who might be going through this and for those facing more serious health concerns.”
