Jools Holland Prostate Cancer

On March 3, Holland revealed that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2014. According to the Mirror, he says he had “no awareness of prostate cancer” before his diagnosis and says the early diagnosis helped in treating it early.

The pianist says he has joined forces with men’s health charity Prostate Cancer UK for a musical event to be held on June 22. The event which is titled Raise the Roof will see names from the world of music – including Paul Weller and Spice Girl Melanie C, and well-known comedians take to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall.
