Dumervil-Jean played as a lineman at the University of Louisville Football. Prior to that, he went to St. Thomas Aquinas High School graduating in 2018. He started against Florida State, NC State, and Kentucky tallied his first tackle in the win over Indiana State. Finished with a season-best six tackles, including 0.5 for loss, at Virginia.
He was a nephew of All-American and current San Francisco 49er Elvis Dumervil, who played at UofL from 2002-05. He had six tackles as St. Thomas Aquinas beat West Broward 38-7 in the Class 7-A playoffs. He was credited with 18 tackles and 1.0 tackle for loss as a junior and chose Louisville over Rutgers, Michigan State, Kentucky, South Carolina, Illinois, Maryland, Syracuse, and Mississippi State son of Michele Jean and Emaine Dumervil.
