In October 2018, a source close to Grimmy revealed that the pair had been dating for several months. They said: “Nick has found dating quite tough in recent years because of his job.
“But he met Meshach — who’s called Mesh by his pals — a few months ago and although it’s still early days they are really enjoying their time together.
In July 2019, the DJ invited Meshach to move into his home in North London after less than a year together.
“Nick is the happiest he has ever been and Mesh is a massive part of that. They were spending all of their time together, with Mesh always staying over, so it made complete sense for them to move in together. Nick asked him to come and live with him and it’s all gone really well. Their jobs aren’t regular nine to fives so they can spend a lot of time together in the week.”

Nick Grimshaw on Thursday, August 12th bid farewell to BBC Radio One, with the star host crying a number of times during his final show. The host, known as Grimmy, has been at Radio One for 14 years having joined the station in 2007.
Grimshaw announced earlier in January 2021 that he was stepping down from his Drive Time slot – with Jordan North and Vick Hope taking over. Speaking at the start of his show at 2 pm, the 36-year-old said: “We are here for my final show on Radio One – and I feel the weirdest ever.
“I just want to have a fun show. I’m going to play you some of my favourite songs I’ve just loved playing on Radio One over the years.” He added: “It was my childhood dream, I’ve had the time of my life.”
Grimshaw later said: “I do feel happy you know, not like happy to get out of here, but it’s weird making the decision and thinking about it. “And then it was weird not telling anyone and, then when I announced it on the radio and we spoke about it and I had a few weeks to process it, well it feels like the right thing to do. It feels exciting.”
