Regina Amos Bio, Wiki
Regina Amos is best known for being the wife of William Amos, a Canadian lawyer and politician serving as the member of Parliament for the riding of Pontiac, Quebec. A member of the Liberal Party, he has represented the riding in the House of Commons since the 2015 federal election.
Amos currently resides in Chelsea with his wife and two children. He is fluently bilingual.
The MP posted his wife on Facebook with the caption,
“Last Saturday evening, my wife Regina and I attended the 3rd annual fundraising dinner at theRestaurant L’Huile d’Olive owned by Pierre Riel and Tina Heafey in the beautiful Village Majopial. This annual fundraiser was organized by the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau Health Foundation which raised over $10,000 for regional health initiatives.Through the Canada-Quebec Health Accord Agreement, the federal government and the provincial government of Quebec have agreed to federal funding of $2.52 billion over 10 years for investments in home and mental health care. The Canada Health Transfer, or CHT, is the largest of the major transfers to the provinces and territories. It provides predictable, long-term funding for health care and supports the principles of the Canada Health Act, which are universality, comprehensiveness, portability, accessibility, and public management.
This agreement will help the entire region, enabling the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau Health Foundation mission to promote the health and well-being of the people in the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau. By transferring these health-specific funds from the Government of Canada to the Government of Quebec, we are enabling investments in local health institutions in Pontiac with the financial resources needed to reach their goals.
Congratulations to Pauline Patry, the president of the Foundation, for a successful fundraising event!”
